The Pennsylvania Department of Labor projects that the state will experience a greater need for medical workers in the next few years as the average age of its residents increases. Employers will have to work harder to attract younger workers, and demand for products aimed at a young market will decrease. The Department of Labor also predicts a growing Hispanic workforce as Pennsylvania continues to attract a more diverse population.
