If you're looking to switch jobs, take a few precautions to ensure that your current employer doesn't catch wind of your intentions too early. Conduct all of your job hunting activities at home. A resume left in the company photocopier will give your intentions away before you're ready. Don't talk to your coworkers about your job search in case they are tempted to spread the word. Accept all phone calls from potential employers at home so that you don't get caught at a phone interview while at your current job. You may also want to set up a separate email account so that you don't receive job-search emails at your work address.
