KS Job Search Tip

One request that shows up repeatedly in job interviews is for you to list your strengths and weaknesses. Always begin your answer by mentioning your strengths so that you're starting off with the positive. Avoid the temptation to offer a weakness that is really a strength. "Sometimes I work too hard," is transparent and shows a lack of imagination. Instead, think of something that may have shown up on your last performance review. If the interviewers are calling your references, they will probably find out about this anyway. Demonstrate that you're working on this weakness.
