At the end of your interview, it's a good idea to ask what length of time is appropriate to wait before making a follow-up call. No matter how tempted you are, do not call before this time is up. When you make your follow-up call, tell them that you are enthusiastic about working for them and that you're wondering if there's anything else you could do to improve your chances. Listen to the answer and implement it if you can. Make the call brief and thank them for their time.
