According to Monster.com Contributing Writer Barbara Reinhold, women hold only 10 percent of top positions in companies despite the fact that women earn 53 percent of all college degrees. Although some of this discrepancy is because many women choose to stay out of the formal workplace to raise their children, there are still instances where it is genuinely more difficult for women to move up.
