Training and development for most industries is handled through the human resources departments in smaller corporations and may be handled by separate training and development specialists in larger companies. Training employees on new technology or methods benefits both the employee and the company who will have highly trained employees to increase productivity and efficiency. Education of training coordinators may vary considerably, but they probably have college degrees with some previous human resources or training experience. The training industry especially should see great growth to benefit businesses with a more skilled workforce.
