DC Job Search Tip

If you want to work part-time but all the positions you find available for your interest and skill set are full-time, look into job sharing. Job sharing allows you to work half of the shift while another person works the remaining half. You're more likely to get an employer to agree to this arrangement if you find someone ahead of time who is willing and capable to take on the split job with you. It will probably take you a little longer to find an employer who is open to job sharing, but it could be worth it.
