The paper you choose for your resume should be 24-pound and 100% cotton. You can find this in the resume paper section of any office supply store or in the office section of most discount retailers. Don't be thrown off by the many different colors available. Choosing plain white will most likely set your resume apart more than choosing a colored or textured paper since most other candidates will opt for the color. Never choose a paper with patterns or designs as these will only draw attention away from the information you're trying to convey.
