This may include a separate phone line that has a professional voice mail recording. Let your family know that when you're in your office you're working and can't be disturbed. Some people who don't appreciate that you're busy will attempt to ask you to volunteer for organizations or chat while you're working. If you have young children, you may need to hire someone to babysit a few hours per week so that you have the time you need to get your work done. The babysitter can take your children to a nearby park or watch them in your home so you can still be available for emergencies.
