Buffalo is known for its automobile production and steelmaking industries. However, the 21st Century is seeing the technology and research sectors rising to the foreground. Much attention is being given to Buffalo due to the bio-informatics and human genome research that is being performed at the Rosewell Park Cancer Institute and at the University of Buffalo.
