Deloitte Consulting's eXtended Business Services Area helps clients develop outsourcing strategies and in conjunction with other offerings of Deloitte Consulting, provides complete operations services for application management and business process outsourcing to clients worldwide.

Application Management Services
Deloitte Consulting's Applications Management Services (AMS) practice leverages extensive experience in enterprise application implementations, custom development and system integration projects. Among the major packages, we have implemented hundreds of SAP, Oracle, Lawson and Siebel applications. Building on this strong legacy, our AMS practice includes professionals who are responsible for maintaining client applications and technology infrastructure.
- Implementing, enhancing, managing and participating in technology walk-up support
- Determining the volume of calls received and evaluating responsiveness and quality of support
- Provide and ensure the quality of technology support for client service and administrative professionals, implementing/enhancing and managing technology walk-up support.
- Respond to requests for technology support, deploy technology to new hires, etc. as workload requires.
- Acting as liaison with services departments and their staff, management, and Partners
- Creating, implementing and evaluating innovative education programs for the end users
- Creating and maintaining efficient processes for new hires and terminations
- Managing the daily tasks, schedule, and expertise of Technology Support Specialists
- Performing regular evaluations for Technology Support Specialists
- Participating in outside professional organizations (i.e.,Help Desk Institute) to gain new ideas and perspectives on improving support
- Encouraging the professional development of the Technology Support Team through outside classes, professional reading and participating in outside organizations for support professionals
- Travel to outlying offices and client offices where client-service staff have been deployed
- Providing on-call after hours and weekend support to the end users

As a Consultant you will work in Applications Management outsourcing with Partners to develop engagement solutions for many Federal government agencies. And you're at the center of it all, performing research, data analysis and modeling to tackle complex business problems, Consultants function as integrators between business needs and solutions. Responsibilities include, among others, performing current state analysis, defining strategy, developing requirements and conducting implementation. Consultants perform accurate analysis and effective diagnosis of client issues and manage day-to-day client relationships at peer client levels. Consultants develop exposure and familiarity with multiple Federal government agencies while achieving task and skill competence in the tool sets and services of the practices within the firm. Consultants will assist in proposal development, presentations and publications as requested. In addition, consultants take an active part in office initiatives and team events.

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

** 2+ years of relevant industry or consulting experience
** Bachelor's Degree
** Graduate business degree with finance, operations, technology/science focus preferred
** Experience with MS Office capabilities
** Experience working with application maintenance and support with packages such as Oracle and SAP or custom development
** Expert usage of EXCEL including but not limited to: Formula creation, IF Function, Logical Functions, Macro's, Pivot Tables, Summary Functions, 3-D References.
** Experience in proposal development
** Prior Federal consulting or IT industry experience
** Strong interpersonal, presentation, and writing skills
** Ability to interface with a variety of clients to help solve business problems
** Strong sense of ownership and commitment
** Willingness to travel
