Utah Valley Specialty Hospital, a 40 bed free-standing long-term acute care hospital specializing in medical, nursing, and rehabilitation services for patients who need more acute medical care for their recovery process, but no longer require services in a traditional acute care hospital, has an immediate opening for:

Wound Care Nurse

Job Requirements: Must be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Utah with at least one year of wound care experience; WOCN certification preferred.

Primary responsibilities are:

Responsible for the overall success and day to day operation of the Wound Care program. Manages the plan of care for patients with stomas and other wound conditions. Performs wound and ostomy care, directs compliance to established quality indicators and tracks outcomes. Able to work cooperatively with other clinical staff and physicians to evaluate, plan, coordinate, teach and document care of patients with regard to ostomy, skin, and wound care problems. Regularly provides education and instruction on ostomy, skin, and wound care to all clinical staff.
