This position is responsible for ensuring the security, audit-ability, and recoverability of servers and workstations managed by Data Center Services. This position is also responsible for capacity planning, system management, and performance optimization. We seek a creative problem solver with in-depth knowledge and experience of architecture, design, and administration in a Microsoft Windows environment. The successful candidate will demonstrate: Mandatory Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of related IT experience, or Master's degree plus 4 years is required Experience in both Server and Desktop technologies Very customer service focused and should be passionate the job and technologies 2 years of experience in security administration and oversight, antivirus updates, patch management, and documentation in a Production Data Center environment, including working knowledge of local area network security protocols and techniques and experience with distributed corporate wide area networks Antivirus software experience such as McAfee, Symantec, or other similar software; should have experience managing this soft ware on multiple servers and multiple desktops (enterprise level environment) Patch management, deployment, and desk top management experience using software Microsoft Systems Management Server (SMS), Software Update Services (SUS), Big Fix, LANDesk Security, and Patch Manager or similar software (enterprise level environment) Recent substantial experience managing Windows Server 2003/2000, Windows XP/2000 Professional, and associated products 2 years of experience in infrastructure implementation (knowledge of, and participation in scoping, building, installing, launching, and managing remote systems) Strong analytical and organizational skills, along with strong verbal and written communications skills High degree of self-motivation and a passion for excellence in customer service Working knowledge of any combination of the following technologies is highly desirable but not required: LANDesk Security and Patch Manager ScriptLogic Desktop Authority McAfee VirusScan and ePolicy Orchestrator Symantec Corporate AntiVirus and System Center Symantec NetBackup (or other server
