WORKOUT PARALEGAL

Boston, MA

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

As a Legal Paralegal – Workout, under the supervision of a senior attorney, you will assist in the commercial loan workout process, including loan file review, drafting workout documentation, and fact-finding.

·         Draft, file and track commercial litigation, commercial mortgage foreclosures, and bankruptcy court pleadings

·         Assist with fact-finding and discovery phases of the litigation process and the settlement, arbitration or trial of matters.

·         General administrative duties including legal research

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

·         Minimum of 3 years paralegal experience with a law firm or corporation as a paralegal with primary responsibility for working on Massachusetts commercial and residential real estate foreclosure and collection litigation practice

·         Strong PC skills

·         Ability to take initiative and resolve matters with limited supervision

·         Ability to work well under pressure

·         Excellent organizational and communication skills

·         Detail-oriented

·         Ability to seek support from colleagues on matters requiring additional or difference experience for resolution

·         Knowledge of WestLaw or Lexis
