Westinghouse Electric Company, Nuclear Fuel, is seeking a Work Week Manager/Scheduler in its Plant Maintenance department for its Specialty Metals Plant (SMP) located in Blairsville, Pennsylvania. The employees of SMP manufacture zirconium-alloy tubing products used in nuclear fuel assemblies for Westinghouse Nuclear Fuel, our licensees, and other customers worldwide. At our facility, we use state-of-the-art manufacturing and inspection systems to meet the exacting standards and demanding tolerances required by our customers.

In this position, a Work Week Manager/Scheduler can expect to create, develop, and implement complex work week schedules and control projects that may impact more then one operational area.
- Create weekly work schedules that are appropriately resource loaded to most effectively utilize available site resources factoring in vacation liability, shift schedules and other factors affecting resources. Prepare these schedules for review and approval at the various schedule review and T-week preparation meetings
- Along with on-shift Operations department supervision, evaluate Work Week Schedules for risk and impact on safety, quality and production, resolve any identified concerns and develop schedules for implementation.
- Work with maintenance department planners to construct a schedule based on the functional equipment groups that exist at SMP, incorporating emergent and backlog work as necessary to ensure full utilization of craft personnel.
- Act as alternate chairman for the Work Request and Work Order Screening Meeting / Site Prioritization Meeting.
- Act as Chairperson for the T-Week meetings.
- Track progress of work performed during the week of execution. Act as the primary point of contact for any changes to scheduled work during the work week
- Perform periodic reviews of open significance "corrective" and "elective" maintenance work orders, and verify work is assigned to an appropriate Work Weeks or Outage Schedule.
- Improve the Work Control Process through implementation of Lessons Learned
- Verify work of other worm management colleagues on assignments that range from basic to complex in nature.
- Identify and communicate areas for work management improvements to maintenance management personnel.
- Develop and maintain performance indicators using data from SAP, Primavera, Excel and Access for the work management processes and upload them to the WFMS core team lead.
- Perform work within established scope, budgetary and schedule requirements.
- Develop skills necessary to assume more independent assignments.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of assigned tasks.
- Ability to lead seminars to train various levels of personnel in the work management process. High school diploma or equivalent.

3 - 5 years experience as a Scheduler utilizing Primavera in a Power Plant or other manufacturing facility utilizing a Computerized Maintenance Management System.
