The Gastroenterology Immunology Specialist will be responsible for attaining Centocor sales objectives for Remicade. You will be presenting complex clinical and business information on Centocor's immunology products and services to an audience of office and institutional based Gastroenterology health care professionals, government agencies, professional and patient groups, health plans and others involved in the decision making process. Qualified candidates will have a BA/BS degree or higher, minimum of 3 years of successful pharmaceutical/medical sales experience, preferably in specialty, hospital or biotech. All candidates must have a valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 States along with a clean driving record. Candidates must be willing to travel as needed or required, depending on the geography. Prior medical device sales experience and experience selling injectible/infused products are a plus. Preference will be given to candidates with working knowledge of immunology and gastroenterology field, prior experience managing through complex reimbursement issues, candidates with prior Management Development courses , experience in project oriented selling situations in a high incentive and individual performance culture, along with a documented successful sales performance (high growth, results vs. plan). Preference will also be given to candidates currently living within 30 miles of the posted territory location.
