A growing Engineering and architecture firm in West Houston is seeking and Accounting Clerk to add to their staff! Responsibilities include: Payroll processing for a 250 employees including the review and verification/ calculation of OT on timesheets for semi-monthly payroll. Invoice preparation and final invoices to clients. Assistant to project managers for accounting support of projects with regard to update/revisions, reports, and backup information. The most ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and come from a professional services company with 3+ years of experience with payroll processing and time and material billing/invoicing experience, have working knowledge of Excel and the ability to work well in a team environment. Previous employment with an architectural/engineering company a huge plus. Software experience with Deltek Semaphore or Vision preferred. This opportunity has full benefits and will pay 16-17/ hour.
