Description: *Set up and operate
welding machine that welds
together parts of fabricated
metal products by performing
assigned duties.
*Become familiar with work
instructions and tools and
equipment needed to perform
welding operations. Initial
training is provided on the job
under supervision of a skilled
Welder.
*Must pass designated
qualification test, be qualified
in a minimum of two processes,
(SMAW-GMAW or others) and be
able to pass horizontal pipe
test (roll out stringer and hot
pass in horizontal position).
*Receive training in applicable
welding processes. Qualifications: *High school diploma or GED;
*Training from accredited
vocational/technical school
preferred
*Must produce acceptable welding
demonstration as part of the
