Coldwater Creek ® POSITION OPENING Web Merchandising Intern Web merchants are responsible for assisting their business partners (Channel Merchandising, Ecommerce team, and Inventory planning-direct team) with building compelling e-mails, monitoring, and maintaining all merchandise live on the Coldwater Creek website. This is done through promotion and categorization based on sales and industry trends to fit our customer?s profile. We are also responsible for representing our brand image in all channels, while creating an exciting and informative customer experience for our customers.

The intern program will support our efforts by interpreting sales reports, fashion trends, and industry research to create web layouts that will promote the brand and generate increased sales for this channel. During the course of the program the candidate will be exposed to how the web merchants interact with their business partners to accomplish building compelling e-mails and special site features based on trends and seasonal product from concept, creation, and implementation as well as knowledge of marketing and merchandising with in the industry. The candidate will also gain experience in how best to communicate Coldwater Creek?s concept to our customers and the best course of action to current business trends within the industry

Job Responsibilities:

Communicate clearly Monitor and maintain merchandise on the Coldwater Creek web-site by Generate and analyze spreadsheets as needed. Assist with fabric, color, and fit approvals. Build historical performance visual boards Assist with trend and color boards, competitive analysis, and meeting set up. Check inventory levels, retail buys, and 1310 IP rank on merch before e-mail turn in. Gather retail floor set info by flow, best sellers, and advertising information. Build and maintain books, files and e-mail wall for the division. Shop competition web sites and e-mails for site design, navigation, and campaigns .

Task Requirements:

Good written and verbal communication. Detail oriented. Excellent follow-up skills. Working knowledge of internet, Microsoft word, excel, power point, photo shop optional. Strong analytical skills (a plus). Well organized, self starter and multi-task oriented. Ability to prioritize tasks in order of importance to meet deadlines. Good decision making abilities. Has visual merchandising skills. Design skills a plus. Ability to ask questions and get clarification. Eager to learn.
