Position Description:

We are looking for talented individuals to join our support team as we expand to meet the needs of our growing company.  We work in a fast-paced, dynamic, and entrepreneurial environment encouraging participation and interesting ideas.  Our technical support staff provides support and problem resolution through telephone, email and online chat. 

 

Qualifications and Experience:

Linux, Windows 2000 and/or 2003 Server

Basic Internet protocols and services such as TCP/IP, DNS, SMTP, POP3, and HTTP.

Experience with some web application servers and platforms, such as IIS, Apache, ASP.net, ColdFusion, PHP, and Perl, is very helpful but not strictly required.

Applicants should be comfortable communicating with customers by phone, email and online web chats.

 

Desired Qualifications:

We are looking for people experienced with support processes in a technical or Internet environment. An ideal candidate has familiarity with some or all of the following:

Linux/FreeBSD, basic UNIX commands, basic Linux system administration skills, Win2003 Server, SSH, FTP, MySQL, Apache, PHP, Perl, Miva, Java, sendmail, HTML, ASP, SQL Server, IIS, and ColdFusion. Troubleshooting abilities and excellent phone skills are a must.
