Job Description
The selected candidate will develop new and maintain existing Agency Intranet and Internet applications; participate in analysis and documentation of user requirements and design; code and test interactive and database-driven Web applications to fulfill user requirements; and be responsible for creating, enhancing, and maintaining database-driven web applications using VB.NET VB.ASP, VBScript, HTML, XML and SQL. The selected candidate will also work with business, creative, and other technical team members to estimate project requirements and to meet delivery dates.

Minimum Requirements:
1. A baccalaureate degree from an accredited college, and two years of satisfactory full-time (not classroom based) experience in computer applications development planning, design, configuration, installation, troubleshooting, integration, performance monitoring, maintenance, enhancement, and security management; or a master's degree in computer science or a related field from an accredited college, which may substitute for one year of experience; or a four-year high school diploma or its educational equivalent and six years of satisfactory full-time (not classroom) based information technology experience

2. Required Certification:  Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD)
 
Candidate hired in this title may need to update existing and/or obtain additional certifications as the agency's technical environment changes.

Additional Preferred Skills:
Candidates must have knowledge of Windows NT operating systems, Microsoft IIS and SQL Servers, HTML, Visual Basic.  Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in software development with VB.NET, VB.ASP, VB Script, ASP, and HTML. JavaScript, Visual Basic and database integration on Windows NT.
