WEB DESIGNER

Location: Santa Cruz, CA

 

POSITION SUMMARY

The Web Designer will be responsible for managing the web request database and providing onsite support for web page development. 

 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

The Web Designer will be responsible for:

Manage web request database and work with internal eBusiness team on deliverables and action items. Providing support on new website efforts.  Involved in page development, design and globalization needs. Provide support on microsite development and channel resource needs. Provide new layout on product launch website. Creative banner development along with other online marketing needs (flash modules, interactive applications, etc)

 

WORK EXPERIENCE

At least two years of related experience within the web design field A good sense of overall site infrastructure and usage of Interwoven, ATG, WebTrends, Photoshop and FrontPage is a must. Experienced in hand coding advanced front end web interfaces using HTML, JavaScript, and CSS. Fundamental knowledge of Flash is a plus. XML/ActionScript to produce dynamic web applications a plus.

EDUCATION

High School diploma required; additional education a plus.
