Web Designer

Assist and create web site graphics and email graphics for Adameveondemand.com, the Video on Demand business of Adam & Eve. Establish and deploy creative and design strategies, tactics, and processes to achieve sales plans, increase efficiency, and achieve profit goals.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Responsible for the conception, creation, and execution of web design and usability projects, working in collaboration with merchandisers and copywriters, to achieve maximum visual impact and sales of products.

Highly skilled and experienced in the application of photography and illustrations, the choice of type and logotype, multiple formats and production processes, including personalization. Adept at producing, splash pages, banners ads, email messages, website, and other e-commerce marketing efforts.

Identify and incorporate all usability methodologies in all web design and intranet design

Direct design team through the project development lifecycle. Ensure the team is functioning efficiently, methodologies are followed and all deliverables are met as appropriate. Ensure that all projects are delivered on strategy, on schedule and on budget.

Identify and manage the relationship with all internal and external creative partners.

Develop and mentor direct reports through close interaction and regular communication.

Direct the development and ensure broad communication of creative briefs.

Direct and lead all creative presentations for eCommerce.

EDUCATION / REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

3+ years experience in web design, usability, project management, and strategic planning.

1+ years experience in an E-Commerce environment.

Thorough knowledge of computer applications – Html, Macromedia Flash, Microsoft office applications, Javascript, CSS, Photoshop and Fireworks.

Demonstrated leadership skills.

Demonstrated organization, communication, presentation, research, and analytical skills.

Demonstrated project management skills.

Demonstrated ability to drive initiatives from concept to implementation.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Graphic design or equivalent work experience required.
