ITA Software is looking for a top-notch web designer to help us build the next generation of airline web sites. Our Internet Booking Engine (IBE) will allow airlines to quickly deploy and integrate with our QPX low-fare search engine as well as their existing reservation system. New user interfaces will help consumers navigate the complex processes of finding, purchasing, and changing air travel.

We are looking for a web designer with expertise in developing elegant, usable and highly interactive web sites. Please submit a portfolio of some of your work or a link to web sites that you have developed as part of your application.


Responsibilities:
• Design the look and feel of the IBE web pages
• Design style sheets, graphics, buttons, controls etc. for the IBE web pages.
• Identify and analyze business and usability requirements for an airline web site, possibly in several different languages and targeting different locales.

Qualifications:
Most or all of the following:
• Web page design and development using HTML and CSS.
• Some experience with Javascript would be a plus.
• Graphic design, online or print.
• Exceptional attention to detail.

Knowledge and Skills:
• Experience in creating large, interactive web sites.
• Demonstrate exceptional design skills; take full responsibility for all phases of web site development and be comfortable with agile software development methodologies.
• Should be highly self-directed, a strong individual contributor, and a strong team player.

Location:
This position is for a full-time employee in Kendall Square, Cambridge. We are conveniently located near the Kendall Square T stop on the Red Line and provide free employee parking at the Kendall Square Cinema garage. No agencies please.
