Established in 1931, Drago Supply Co. is a regional, general line distributor of industrial supplies, operating in Arkansas, Louisiana, and Texas with eight branch locations.  Truly dedicated to the principle of 'one-stop shopping', the Company stocks in excess of 30,000 items of hand tools, power tools, general hardware, cutting tools, abrasives, contractor supplies, safety supplies, paper and janitorial supplies, welding supplies, and many other products.  We inventory products from over 700 manufacturers and represent in excess of 2,000 manufacturers.  Our customers include the refinery, petrochemical, construction, marine, manufacturing, machine shop, municipality, forest products, railroad, aviation, paper and power generating industries to name a few.  We conduct business in many other industries as well. 

We have an immediate opening for a full-time warehouse worker at our La Porte, TX location. 

Job Duties:

* Prepares orders by pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area or on delivery trucks.** Maintains quality service by following organization standards.

* Maintains safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, pallet area, and workstations neat; maintaining clean shipping supply area; complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

* Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

*Experience operating an order picking machine and/or a forklift will be helpful but not required, we will train the right candidate.

*Teamwork, Coordination, Organization, Time Management, Inventory Control Skills, Documentation Skills, Data Entry Skills, and Dependability are necessary to succeed in this position.
