This position will assist the Warehouse Manager in maintaining the branch warehouse.    

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Ensure the condition of the warehouse and product to maintain an “inspection ready” facility at all times
• Assist the warehouse staff to ensure achievement of daily objectives and standards
• Assist the warehouse staff in receiving and shipping product
• Promote and maintain good customer service relations with other departments, branches and vendors/customers through timely and professional resolution of service issues
• Ensure proper mechanization and placement of product
• Provide initial and ongoing training of shipping and receiving personnel

Qualification Requirements:
• 1-3 years lead experience required, preferably in a distribution environment
• 3-5 years warehouse experience required
• Self motivated, ability to work independently and as a team
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required
• UPS WorldShip experience preferred
• Ability to multi-task projects and possess a general knowledge of business principles
• Must be a problem solver and detail oriented
• AS400 experience highly preferred
