General Description-Warehouse, Storage and Shipping

·          Receive and store all merchandising materials and POS according to designated system.

·          Maintain storage and inventory system for all point of sale materials.

·          Report POS inventories to Suppliers and SWS Management as needed. (At least monthly)

·          Organize and distribute all POS, coupons, sell sheets, shelf talkers, etc. for upcoming promotions and programs.

·          Dispose of damaged goods properly.

·          Prepare and transport large display items to Local ABC Boards and stores when needed.

·          Rotate and make suggestions about the disposal of outdated merchandise.

·          Separate all add slicks, sell sheets and other sales materials.  Deliver to appropriate sales staff.

·          Document the receipt of all received items and report to manager.

·          Maintain a clean, safe and organized warehouse, dock area and equipment.

·          Set up system and maintain shipping of POS, and other materials as needed.

·          Mail out correspondence and point of sale to SWSMA sales employees as needed.

·          Assists with deliveries to remote POS warehouse, sales reps and local ABC Boards as needed.

·          Process supplier charge backs as needed related to above and other activities.

 

 

Sales meeting and sales support

·          Setup sample of new point of sale materials in the sales room prior to sales meetings and remove when completed.

·          Assist with preparation and participate in all sales meeting as requested.

·          Pick up and disperse samples to sales personnel with approval from Divisional Sales VP.

·          Fill salespersons’ bins with proper materials for picking up at sales meeting days.

·          Obtains monthly program calendars from designated manager and sales reps and updates as needed.

·          Assists with field merchandising efforts ass needed.

·          Coordinate distribution of monthly sales signs and leave behinds, to sales reps as needed.

·          Process, pick and stage POS requests from field sales reps for pick up.

·          Processes all request for POS from suppliers.

·          Assist with Print Shop as needed. Sorting, collating, cutting, packaging, preparing and shipping.

Skills and Certification required

·          Minimally competent in Windows and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word and Power Point)

·          Certified on 3,000 lb. forklift.

·          Appropriate licensing and ability to operate 18ft delivery truck or similar.

·          Skills in print shop preferred

 

Experience/Education/Other requirements

·          Valid Virginia Driver’s License.

·          HS Diploma or Equivalent.

·          Excellent driving record a must.

·          Must posses exceptional communication, teamwork, and organizational skills.

·          This position will require a great deal of heavy lifting.
