Qualifications
Comfortable with high-volume shipping, receiving, and inventory control, involving both domestic and international shipments.
Skilled at using database, spreadsheet, and word-processing software to prepare statistical and written reports with varying degrees of complexity and detail for management.
Easily analyzes and prioritizes information, distilling it to the critical issues and drawing accurate conclusions.
Experience in a Facilities Management or Environmental Health and Safety position. Strong exposure to environmental science, industrial hygiene, and health and safety issues.
Designs and manages processes to monitor progress and to maximize performance.
Must be able to work Monday through Friday 5:30am to 7:00pm and 8:00am to 12:00pm on Saturday.
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
Develops departmental policies, procedures, and workflows.
Ability to provide immediate supervision to employees, assigning tasks, scheduling shifts, and checking work at frequent intervals.
High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
Forklift/Picker Certification Valid Alabama Driver's License
