WAREHOUSE MANAGER - WAREHOUSE

 

Summary:
Seeking a Warehouse Manager to be a lead in our warehouse, receive ordered materials, stock inventory, maintain parts inventory levels and ship materials.  Maintain a clean and safe working environment in the warehouse.

 

Responsibilities: 

Overall management of the warehouse.

 

Ensure correct Bill of Materials and obtain necessary signatures.

 

Material handling, ordering and maintaining stock.

 

Shipping and Receiving Responsibilities.

 

Other duties may be assigned.

 

 

Qualified applicants must have a minimum of 1 year of recent experience as a Warehouse Manager with an emphasis on routing and negotiating freight and barcode experience and 5 years overall experience in a warehouse.  You must also possess skills in the following areas:  Shipping and Receiving, proficiency in Excel, Email, and Internet, ability to lift 100 lbs, good written and oral communication, strong math and organizational skills, and a keen attention to detail.  Degree Preferred, but not required.

 

 

Requirements: 

·         Education and/or Experience

o         Highly prefer Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university, but not required.  Essential Experience: minimum 1 year of recent experience as a Warehouse Manager and 5 years overall experience in a warehouse.

·         Experience in the following areas:

o        Shipping and Receiving

o        Excel, Email, And Internet

o        Negotiating freight

o        Working in a barcode system

·         Mathematical Skills

o        Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, taxes, and percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

·         Reasoning Ability

o        Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

·         Must be able to lift a minimum of 100lbs

·         Background Check

o        Must successfully pass background and pre-employment drug screen.
