Are you a Warehouse Manager who is looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Look no further! A Leading International Outdoors Manufacturing Company is seeking a Warehouse Manager for their new distribution center in Sacramento, Ca. The role offers the opportunity to join the company at an exciting time and will enable the successful candidate to implement systems before the facility is operational. The Warehouse Manager will oversee the efficient and complete operation of the on-site warehouse. As a Warehouse Manager you will be a key contributor to the efficient start up of the warehouse operation by recruiting, training and managing a workforce to operate this area of the site. You will also see the establishment of appropriate procedures and systems for the smooth start-up and subsequent routine operation for all warehouse activities will be critical. The successful candidate will also take a key role in supporting the warehouse relocation from Southern California to Sacramento. Other duties will include: 1) Maintaining relationships with retail customers, marketing department and the sales team. 2) Recruitment, discipline, training and development of hourly employees. 3) Responsible for managing the efficient loading and unloading of product, work safety management and training. 4) Responsible for accurate record keeping, inventory, damaged/destroyed goods, and the consistent enforcement of company policies

Requirements:
Preferred candidates will posses experience with international shipping procedures and processes. A.S Degree in Business, Logistics, or related fields. Other Qualifications will include: Candidates must have experience with the Logistics, Distribution or Product Management and ideally in a similar warehouse role. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively and comfortable with company staff from executive level staff members to entry level staff members. Must be able to pass a drug and background screen. The role will manage a small team initially which will grow as the facility develops. The role comes with excellent benefits and salary package.
