Title: VP Relationship Manager

 

Location: Bellevue, WA

 

Salary: $80-$120K plus bonus, incentives and highly competative benefits.

 

Job Summary: 

In this VP Relationship Manager role you will be given an existing portfolio with the primary responsibility being to grow the portfolio by generating high quality C& I loans. Qualified VP Relationship Manger's should also have a strong sense of determining needs and providing a full range of products and services to meet those needs, including negotiating and structuring commercial loans. The VP Relationship Manager will also need to develop new business relationships for the bank, develop and nurture referral sources, serve as a liaison to assigned branches in support of their commercial banking activities, and participate in community activities within the marketplace. Successful candidate may also assume mentoring/coaching responsibilities including participation in establishing goals and monitoring performance of assigned junior officers. VP Relationship Managers are expected to act largely independent in the management of their portfolio. The preferred candidate would have an established book of quality commercial customers in the general geographic area of the King County area.

 

Job Requirements:

- AVP and SVP candidates are encouraged to apply also.

-Minimum of five (5) years of progressively responsible commercial lending, business development, and loan & deposit generation for a bank.

-College graduate with major in business, finance, economics, accounting or equivalent.

-Ability to make cold calls and to generate leads that result in new business, which includes both loans and deposits for respective financial centers.

-Solid knowledge of the fundamentals of underwriting commercial and larger personal loans.

-Superior credit skills in both business and commercial real estate loans.

-PC, Microsoft Office and Internet applications proficiency.

-Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.

-Driving/Travel: As necessary.
