Our services touch the lives of more than 50 million consumers.    Vice President, Human Capital - Optumhealth Care Solutions - Golden Valley, MN   The responsibilities of this role will include the following: Contributes to a business segment's performance by providing strategic consulting on people strategies organization development and other HR or business initiatives. Responsible for the Human Capital initiatives for a 2000+ employee operations organization Initiates key talent development, sourcing and deployment strategies. Conducts in-depth supply and demand analyses of the current and future people and skills needs of the organization and develops strategies and plans to meet those needs. Provides managers with human capital management information through technology and assists them using this information. Acts as change agent to the business and designs processes and approaches which prepare employees for ongoing change. Designs and implements retention strategies including utilization of reward and recognition programs and develops initiatives which support the goals of the business. Creates processes and solutions in partnership with management which support a positive employee relationship environment through effective communications, policies and practices. Coaches managers and leaders in performance management skills, counsel with managers regarding corrective review process, terminations, as appropriate. Work with site or department stakeholders to identify and analyze negative trends and barriers to success; work with line-managers to resolve issues and follow up to monitor success of implemented resolutions. BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business or related field MAIR/HR or MBA preferred At least 10 years of progressive Human Resources Management experience with expertise in organization development/effectiveness and leadership development Experience working in a HR function with shared service delivery and strategic business partner model strongly preferred Strong history or quickly gaining credibility and partnering with business leaders Experience working in a matrix environment Demonstrated project management skills Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrates a Strategic business focus Makes sound decisions and recommendations Applies diagnostic insight Champion continuous change Consults with versatility Guides the organization development Exhibits personal leadership Focuses the communication Models a customer orientation Shapes business ethics and integrityDiversity creates a healthier atmosphere: equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V
