CITY: Pittsburg STATE: Pennsylvania COUNTRY: USA Essential Functions (Responsibilities): Full Financial responsibility for a newly formed business unit. Duties will include: * Partner with CEO to deliver on business plan and financial commitments of the P&L. * Lead business operations processes such as annual operating plans and presentations to the board of directors. * Set up all aspects of the business financials including accounting, tax, ledger, systems, etc. * Lead a team of financial analysts to provide insight to the business and influence outcomes. Qualifications/Requirements: * Minimum 7 years financial experience * BA/BS in Finance/Business Administration or related field of study * Proven communication and leadership skills * Demonstrated analytical, process and problem solving skills * Business presence, ability to interact/influence senior management * Strong ethics and values Desired: * MBA in Finance/Business Administration * 10+ yrs of progressive financial mgmt experience* Experience with start up companies & setting up financial plans in that type of environment* Experience with software business models (revenue recognition, etc.)* Experience leading teams (direct or 3rd party) General: 'NEW CO' is a well funded startup software and hardware technology new venture opportunity involving GE Healthcare and a cutting edge research partner.
