Job Description: The Vice President Creative Services oversees the development, creation and implementation of all MSG Entertainment related consumer and business creative including TV, radio, print, online and collateral. Supervises the creative direction of all internal MSGE activities for venue signage, upcoming events, event handouts and presentations including promotional items, collateral, graphic creative, etc. Offers creative leadership across all mediums to ensure that consumer marketing and promotional materials are in synch with overarching brand strategy. Manages branding guidelines, ad templates, product extension guidelines such as licensing, merchandise, multi-media and sponsorship partnerships. Executes corporate creative materials including stationery, holiday cards, gift packages, „road show" materials, presentation template decks and marketing packages to unify the brand images and create a cohesive brand message to the public. Provides strong managerial, creative and strategic expertise in order to ensure MSGE is receiving high quality, on budget professional service. Recruits and develops new relationship with external creative resources in order to help achieve core business objectives. Assists the SVP Marketing in unique creative projects and participates in additional assignments as needed.
Job Requirements: Ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree with at least ten years experience of strategic based creative development with proven examples of brand/logo guidelines and logo development. Must have at least ten years experience in a fast-paced, creative environment, preferably in entertainment or retail business channels, producing numerous creative assets simultaneously. Will have a thorough understanding of all aspects of print, video and new media design and production. Will have the ability to identify and analyze new technologies and techniques to improve the quality or efficiency of production, related to creative services. Must be knowledgeable of traditional and new media businesses and be able to manage expenses against established budgets. Will have the ability to identify, recruit and manage creative talent as well as, knowledge of the latest trends and creative resources in advertising, promotion, production and design. Technical experience in a digital signage environment is a plus. Will posses a high level of energy, passion, leadership and commitment to do whatever it takes to achieve goals of the department. Must have efficient organizational and project management skills to meet the large output for projects. Must have proven creativity and vision in order to bring concepts to reality. Exceptional communications skills, strong relationship building abilities and the capacity to juggle numerous initiatives simultaneously is required.
