TRANZACT is a marketing services company specializing in acquiring large numbers of new customers for big brands in the media/communications and the financial services sector. Our clients are leading brands including  Alltel, DIRECTV, AIG, Verizon Wireless, The New York Times, etc. We work through all channels of direct with a major focus in online marketing. What is unique about us is our ability to combine creative marketing with tight operational and technological efficiencies, inside of a highly refined ROI and P&L model. Position:We have an immediate opening for an experienced online direct marketer at the Vice President level to manage our marketing strategy for local, broadband/cable in our Fort Lee, New Jersey office. This position will play a key role in the management, development and implementation of our marketing efforts for local, broadband, and cable customer acquisition strategies. Reporting Relationship: This position reports to our Executive Vice President.   Responsibilities:Depending on the level of experience / expertise of the candidate, the responsibilities will vary but will include, but will not necessarily be limited to the following areas: (1) Online Marketing Program Development: Design, manage and execute multi channel direct response marketing campaigns / initiatives in the broadband industry. (2) Sales Effectiveness:   Maximize program performance and revenue generated by marketing efforts by managing program quality and analyzing results to suggest program improvements. (3) Financial Analysis & Reporting:  Direct accountability for the P & L. Analyze, prepare and submit revenue and cost information for the daily profitability report, monthly Profit and Loss statement and annual budget, all in support of the company’s financial objectives. Help administer the expenditure of online media and other acquisition strategies in accordance with established company budgets.  (4) Team Leadership/Performance Management: Manage Account Managers and other internal resources to ensure seamless transitions between overlapping programs and customers and to create programs and materials that meet performance goals.  Receive, verify and report on program tests and results, analyze data, recommend actions for improved results and implement changes as required.  Qualifications:Depending on the level of experience / expertise of the candidate, his / her qualifications will indicate what position they’re pursuing. However, with that said, we seek exceptional candidates with the varying levels of the following skills, qualifications and experience: 5 plus years of successful experience leading the development and implementation of customer acquisition programs within the Broadband industry. ·         5 plus years of hands-on direct response marketing management experience ·         5 plus years of direct accountability for managing P&L’s·         Experience leading front end (direct response marketing) and back end operations (interfacing with IT)·         Proven leadership skills as a developer of people, programs and solutions·         A strong results orientation with a track record of developing successful online direct response marketing programs that yield a high rate of return  Education: Bachelor’s degree required; MBA a plus, but not required  Personal Skills/Shared Values:·         Strong strategically and analytically; able to discern customer insights from quantitative and qualitative data.·         Innovative and creative thinker; can see and develop “out-of-box” solutions.·         Results-driven leader; able to engender support through thought leadership and persuasion.·         Team player, able to work collaboratively; must demonstrate trust, honesty and candor; unquestioned integrity.·         Effective communicator both orally and in writing; excellent listening skills, and open to new ideas.·         Unwavering commitment to quality.·         Strong sense of urgency, balancing need for thoughtful and comprehensive analysis against desire for urgent, tangible results.   Compensation:We are seeking an outstanding individual with an excellent track record of accomplishment and offer an attractive compensation package including base salary (based on the candidate’s level of experience), incentives and a complete package of company benefits.   Disclaimer: The preceding job description has been designed to indicate the general nature and level of work performed by employees at TRANZACT.
