Yoh Scientific has an opportunity for a Vice President of Operations – Entrepreneurial Operations and Business Leader to join our customer in San Jose, CA.

For the entrepreneurial operations management professional this is a unique opportunity to make a substantial impact on over two dozen well funded life science companies poised to deliver innovative bio-products to market. This multi-faceted position will challenge your operations and business management savvy on a new level as you oversee all operations and client / partner relationships in our state-of-the-art accelerator. Our customer is an accelerator providing a new generation of facilities, specialized equipment, world class laboratory and business support services. Their mission is to provide entrepreneurs with the resources, contacts and experience they need to commercialize their technology. Founded in 2004, the organization is the first of its kind to provide a comprehensive suite of business and laboratory services in a biotech ready facility. As Vice President of Operations, your mission will be to provide seamless service and operational support and management for the organization’s facility and their clients. Your proven experience managing the day-to-day operations of a biotech or other life sciences company will be critical to your success. A track record of managing labs, equipment, offices, personal, vendors, contracts, inspections, budgets and operational reviews will give you the experience needed to hit the ground running. As important is the willingness and ability to be the “point-person” for all client and partner needs. Your can-do air of confidence and leadership will be crucial to developing strong relationships and facilitating trust and partnership through-out the life sciences arena. Although not required, past experience in a start-up environment and/or contacts in the industry would be helpful. What is required is business savvy, operational management experience in a biotech / life sciences organization and the desire to partner with their clients to ensure their success.
