This position reports directly to the Senior Vice President of Mortgage Services and is critical to Ocwen’s aggressive growth strategy. The candidate will be responsible for initiating Ocwen’s default management outsourcing business, including assisting loan Servicers in the management of defaulted loans. This line of business will provide transaction management, process management, and technology solutions to Servicers that traditionally perform these functions in-house. Responsibilities will include:

•Develop and manage the Default Management business unit to include defining processes, developing technology, and spearheading sales initiatives
•Establish and oversee the foreclosure claims processing division and maintain responsibility for the creation and performance of all non-lawyer related work related to residential foreclosures and bankruptcies on behalf of the attorney network
•Work closely with the business development staff to identify potential markets, product enhancements and cross selling opportunities
•Manage the global operations team including the oversight of production operations, compilation of performance and operational reporting, cross department coordination, facilitating product and efficiency gains and developing the group strategic plan
•Develop sales strategies for all default management related businesses
•Partner with Executive Management in developing the title platform by providing constructive feedback with respect to systems requirements, personnel and staffing and other related topics


Key Result Areas:

•Maximize efficiencies by augmenting existing technologies to reduce default management cycle times
•Develop a central processing center for all defaulted loans and enhance overall investor returns
•Develop relationships with attorneys and Servicers throughout the U.S. and “sell” them on our outsourcing solutions
•Meet budget revenue and contribution targets as directed by senior management


Experience:

The position requires a minimum of ten plus years of default management experience with a strong track record of success. The candidate must have the ability to utilize market knowledge to identify potential opportunities and negotiate transactions that compliment the company’s strategic plan. The candidate must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to gain credibility with business partners. Excellent analytical skills with an emphasis on sophisticated business analysis and modeling desired. A four-year degree from an accredited university is required and an MBA is preferred.
