Vice President & Actuary opening in New York. Represent the actuarial aspects of the companys interests in developments within the insurance industry. Work will be personal production, but require coordination and consensus with internal stakeholders. Responsible for research and analysis of trends in the insurance industry; various committees come together to discuss and keep informed of regulations and potential changes/updates; be a member of these organizations, have expertise in the different jurisdictions and knowledge of state rules and regulations. (ie states follow model regulations but often have their own rules at the state level, particularly New York. FSA with at least 10 years of experience in industry topics and Knowledge of statutory valuation. Salary $Open.
