I am looking for an experienced licensed New York State Veterinary Technician.  This is a great opportunity to play a large role in a busy, one doctor, small animal  hospital.  You will help the doctor in the exam room, assist in surgery, perform dental prophys,  monitor anesthesia with a state of the art pulse ox, Ekg, capnography, blood pressure machine, perform all lab work including fecal  analysis, urinalysis, ear cytology, Felv and FIV tests, Spec Cpls, taking (without manual restraint) and developing radiographs with an auto processor, drawing blood samples, placing catheters, setting up fluids etc.  Must be comfortable handling dogs, cats and ferrets. (no other exotics).  I have a great support staff and I am looking for a friendly individual to join us.  Salary and long term benefits are based on your experience.  Only NYS licensed techs will be considered.
