People Solutions is a leading provider of scientific, engineering, and IT staffing solutions to client organizations with highly specialized requirements. People Solutions provides staffing solutions on both a contract and direct basis.
Our client is a global leader in manufacture, marketing, and distribution of consumer health, beauty, and over-the-counter pharmaceutical products. Currently, our client seeks candidates for the position of Validation Engineer. This is a six month project with potential fr a full time opportunity down the road. it is an immediate opportunity and interviews will begin next week.
In this position, you will be responsible for development of company validation and stability standards to meet global requirements and current industry standards, as well as development and writing of validation policies, procedures, and protocols. Also responsible for supervision of IQ/OQ/PQ (Installation Qualification/Operational Qualification/ Performance Qualification) process validation and cleaning validation. In addition, responsibilities include QA oversight of calibration programs, assembling and issuing new product technical releases, and change control processes.
The qualified candidate will have validation engineering, process engineering or validation experience, a BS Degree in a Technical Discipline (Life science or engineering area preferred) Experience in a GMP protocol environment, and prior work experience in an FDA regulated industry such as a biotech, pharmaceutical, medical device manufacturing, or related area is preferred.

In order to be successful in this position you will need:
A Bachelors Degree in a technical discipline (science or engineering preferred)
Experience in validation engineering and in-depth knowledge of validation practices is necessary.
Experience in an FDA regulated environment such as medical device manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotech, food manufacturing, or other related industry is preferred.
Experience with GMP protocol, ISO, or other related operating protocol is desired.
