Job Description: Senior Biologist Must have expertise in writing and reviewing technical reports and California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA)/National Environmental policy Act (NEPA) chapters on terrestrial resources, developing states and federal permit applications for fill or disturbance of streams and wetlands, preparing biological assessments and habitat conservation plans as part of Endangered Species Act consultations, conducting focused plant and wildlife surveys and developing biological constraints and opportunities reports. Requires excellent written and oral communication skills, as the position requires preparation and review of technical reports, as well as interaction with clients at a project management level, and interaction with regulatory agencies on behalf of clients. Shall be able to bring work into the firm independent of other principals efforts. Minimum qualification is a master of science degree in biology, ecology, or closely related field. Prior Experience with CEQA/NEPA, California and federal Endangered Species Acts, stream and wetland permitting and GIS. Compensation Package: Industry-leading Salary and benefits package. Profit sharing, up to 25% of base salary, Simple IRA, Firm will match employee contributions up to three percent of employee base salary, annually.
