Unleash Your Potential as a Biomedical Software Developer Working for a Prestigious Research Project! 

Would you like to support a cutting edge medical project?  Would you like to gain professional experience using your software development skills in a military environment?  Sound interesting? Then we need your expertise on our team in friendly, San Antonio, Texas on the historic Fort Sam Houston base. 

As a software developer you will be responsible for implementing new software component designs or enhancements to existing software products.  You will also contribute to modifications of software system components.  You will apply standard techniques and recognize discrepancies in results and determine appropriate corrections.

Candidates should have strong programming skills in Java, object oriented-design, C#, XML, SQL and database development. Prior experience with web services, grid technologies, and distributed computing is highly desirable. Biomedical software experience is also required. 

Experience with software engineering best practices such as requirements gathering, version control, automated testing, and configuration management is desirable. Leadership abilities, excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills are a must.

Ideal candidates will need a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, or Computer/Electrical Engineering or other equivalent fields.  Additionally, applicants selected must have US citizenship.  This is a longer term contract opportunity with benefits available.

Pay range depending upon experience level.  Competitive for the San Antonio market.
