Salary: $65-85 + year end bonus based on salary grade level

DESCRIPTION

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience: Successful candidate with have a strong background (2-5 years) as a Unix Administrator with experience utilizing EMC Control Center

Strong analytical skills including problem solving, trouble shooting and resolution.Strong experience with EMC Storage and Control Center requiredStrong experience as a HP Unix Admin requiredExperience with StorageTek and Brocade switches is a plusAbility to priorities and multi-taskProven communications skills both verbal and writtenAbility to be on call 24X7

RESPONSIBILITIES

Storage administration of disk arrays and tape libraries, allocation of storage to 250 plus servers. Tools used are EMC Control Center and Storage Tek.Installs, configures, administers, tunes and optimizes complex server operating systems such as UNIX, LINUX, & Z/Os and related components and system level software packages such as application servers and web servers. Implements, monitors and adjusts the system backup proceduresMaintains, tests and implements business continuance strategies and procedures Analyzes Identifies, investigates, evaluates, tests and recommends software and hardware components..Installs, configures, administers, tunes and optimizes the enterprise storage solutions and storage management software packages Position requires the ability to provide on-call support twenty-four hours a day seven days a week
