Description:
CSC is looking for a Full-TimeUCM Architect, location can be anywhere in the US near a major airport. This position is 100% travel. Job Description for Ideal Siebel Universal Customer Master (UCM) Architect:Candidate should have at least 2+ years hands-on technical experience with the Siebel UCM solution including functionality such as data integration, initial data loads, data cleansing, administration, etc. Ideal candidate would also have hands-on technical experience with other Siebel applications such as CRM. Candidate should have installation and configuration experience with Siebel applications in Windows, Unix, or Linux environments. Candidate should have installation and configuration experience with data quality solutions such as Trillium, DataStage%5CQualityStage, Firstlogic, or others. Candidate should have installation and configuration experience integration platforms such as Oracle Fusion, IBM Websphere, Webmethods, Tibco, or BEA Weblogic. Candidate should have experience with Siebel applications and integration to other ERP/Legacy applications using middleware, ETL, SOA, XML, or BPEL integrations. Candidate should have experience with designing and developing Master Data Management solutions Candidate should have experience designing and developing 3rd party account hierarchies, householding hierarchies, or data enrichment solutionsSiebel certifications are a plus.

Technical: Work independently within a business area and assist at the enterprise level to influence the technical decisions during all phases of the project.
Technical: Know the relevant issues and considerations in selecting both technical software packages and vendors including their capabilities, the clients who have installed them, and user experiences with them.
Technical: Design and construct interfaces across platforms.
Methodology: Provide consulting support to the project during the Vision and Strategy, Architecture, and Development phases.
Management: Lead a team of 6-10 resources (CSC, client, and third-party resources) in your area of expertise to successful conclusion of a project phase.
Business: Provide input in identifying issues and considerations for selecting business application packages and vendors.
Relationship Management: Manage client expectations and balance the needs of CSC and the client to ensure satisfaction for both.
Relationship Management: Influence decisions and project direction at the executive level.
Leverage: Perform consultative selling and leverage business through superior delivery skills, good client relations, and subject matter expertise.
Leverage: Participate in proposal efforts and sales calls.



Basic Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
Six or more years of experience in technical architecture analysis and design
Experience working with CSC Catalyst and/or equivalent client or vendor-mandated methodology
Experience working with the client's enterprise products, services, and strategies
Experience working with at least two technical platforms and associated integration techniques

Other Qualifications

Good technical infrastructure performance modeling and benchmarking skills
Strong communication skills
Ability to deal with and resolve ambiguity
Ability to anticipate problems and take decisive action, giving regard to the impact on both the client and CSC
Ability to adjust personal style to different situations
