SUMMARY: 

A rapidly growing very reputable family owned company is currently searching far and wide for a qualified underground utilities Estimator.  This company has doubled its volume in the past year, continually looking to grow.  If you like a great work atmosphere, then this is the opportunity for you!

 

RESPONSIBILITIES 

·        Prepare Preconstruction plan including documents, schedules and permits.

·        Potential to lead the estimating department.

·        Firm understanding of wet utilities projects.  

·         Great communication skills, must be able to deal with public utilities.

 

QUALIFICATIONS 

·        5+ years of underground utilities experience is mandatory.

·        General knowledge of construction principles/processes.

·        Must have excellent leadership and communication skills.

·         Performance based attitude is a must.

·         Be familiar with estimating software.

 

BUSINESS: 

·         This privately owned company has been around for over 15 years.  Great reputation of doing exceptional work in the area.  Family owned work hard play hard atmosphere.

 

TYPICAL BUILDING PROJECT TYPES: 

·        Primarily wet utility projects; water, sewer, storm drain.  Civil structure work, box culverts, mass excavation and site demolition.  Site work for commercial parking lots.

 

INDIVIDUAL CONSTRUCTION COSTS/PROJECT SIZES 

·         Company does projects from $150,000 to $8 million and is looking to get into bigger projects.

·         Salary from $70k to 95k based on experience.  Great insurance and benefits package and incentive plan.
