Job Functions:Identify issues facing utilities with an aging transformer fleetDevelop necessary response including service and technology development. Identify key industry contact for delivery of servicesFeedback technology development needs to the substations program manager for incorporation into the multi-year plan
Ideal Candidate:Needs to be in touch with industry needs and be able to identify and implement innovative solutions to meet these needsExperience in performing research and providing services Have experience with degradation and failure modes of transformers.Project Management skills and experience (>10years) Strong interpersonal communication and presentation skills Strong writing skills Willingness to travel 2 to 3 times per month for 2 or more days (both within US and internationally) Have published research papers and be recognized in the industryRecognized by peers as a knowledgeable and reliable professional and an expert resource to EPRI staff, members and other stakeholders
