Electrical Engineer

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with skill set in power plant design and power plant operations. Responsible in the design office for routine engineering and design tasks of the electrical area of assigned projects based on specific and detailed instructions received from the assigned supervisor as to the required tasks and results expected.

Responsibilities:Assigned specific projects to complete under the direction of an experienced engineer.Responsible for following project responsibilities as defined for the assigned project position.Assists technical service personnel in proper execution of drawings.Maintains a thorough, current knowledge of new and innovative techniques in the electrical engineering field.May serve as a representative of Utility Engineering Corporation when participating in check-out, start-up, and tests of new or retrofitted electrical systems under supervision of the field engineering staff or assigned supervisor. Minimum requirements: Bachelor Degree in electrical engineering discipline from an accredited engineering program Minimum of two (2) plus years experience in operation, maintenance, or design related in the electrical field Occasional periods of field/office work entailing travel May be required to work in an office, as well as an industrial plant environment
