Building wealth and rewarding careers, Countrywide Bank, FSB, is one of the largest banks in the nation with current assets of more than $100 billion.* From offering highly competitive deposit product rates to outstanding career possibilities, experience the extreme value we place on entrepreneurial talents and our team’s innovations.   * Based on current assets and other banking data reported to the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) 1st quarter, 2007.     Trustee’s Sale Officer Countrywide Bank Recon Trust performs non-judicial foreclosure and lien release services to Countrywide, and its affiliates, as well as provides similar services to investors and mortgage lenders throughout the country.  We currently offer foreclosure trustee services in non-judicial states: California, Arizona, Nevada, Washington, Oregon, Hawaii, Montana, Utah, Alaska, Virginia, Idaho, Arkansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Mississippi and Texas, with plans for expansion into additional non-judicial jurisdictions through 2009.  Primary Responsibilities Include:Processing non-judicial Foreclosures for all states in ReconTrust's portfolio—with emphasis on highly technical aspects of Foreclosure Audit files prior to sale to ensure a valid foreclosure sale is conducted. Obtain bidding instructions, order date-downs, communicate and provide bidding instructions to vendors and take other actions necessary to take a property through trustee's sale. Prepare closing documents for reinstatements, payoffs and trustee's sales. Monitoring Title problems, BK Releases and Third-Party Foreclosure SalesAnswer phones, assist customers/clients, file, and perform other job related duties as assigned.Preparing and/or reviewing Publication PackagesPreparing Damage Disclaimers (as needed)Processing surplus fundsFollow policy and procedures the business unit has in place to manage risks, follow all required internal control protocols, responds accurately and timely to all internal and external audit requests. Supporting Countrywide's commitment to compliance by adhering to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations and Countrywide Bank's policies and procedures Reporting all incidence of noncompliance to an immediate ManagerA successful candidate will have:High school education or equivalent required.Auditing skills and the ability to make decisions based on specific circumstances are required. Strong attention to detail Sense of urgency / Ability to meet deadlines Ability to follow up Strong customer service skills PC skills—preferably with Windows programs Minimum 1 or more years of experience as a Trustee's Sale Processor with ReconTrust, or equivalent experience from another companyThe ideal candidate may also possess:High school education or equivalent required, college degree is a plus.
