Essential Job Functions:
-Grow, retain and nurture a specific portfolio of existing Global Treasury Management client relationships
-Proactively expand the relationship through aggressive cross selling into current client base
-Develop and execute cross selling strategies for their assigned portfolios
-Proactively manage relationships as primary contact point and understand and know each client's treasury business needs
-Work with Treasury Advisor to seamlessly transition clients into TRM portfolio
-Work with LOB Relationship Manager to remain current with respective clients and provide updates to them as needed
-Create and present GTM strategies at in person relationship review meetings
-Conduct in-person and/or joint client calls
-Actively participate with regularly scheduled LOB team meetings
-Conduct cash management external speakers series and seminars.
-Effectively prepare sales presentations which may include cash management cost benefit analyses and other studies
-Work with sales support to execute the implementation of cross sell opportunities and account maintenance and set ups -Ability to effectively utilize consultative and strategic solution selling skills
-Ability to deliver products and services based on identified value proposition
-Educate clients on all products and services related to GTM -Manage 'Request for Proposals' process. Set pricing and recommend solutions and appropriate products to optimize relationship profitability
-Keep abreast of emerging client and treasury management industry trends and initiatives to present client's with solutions that add value
-Responsible for staying in tune with competitive market intelligence involving competition
-Communicate client service issues to appropriate GTM partners
-Responsible for executing exception pricing changes -Demonstrate Key Values and ability to identify business opportunities outside of Treasury Management, and make an effective referral to the appropriate line of business
-Ensure that all sales related information is correct in CE Desktop and maintain pipeline accuracy
-Initiate or participate in appropriate client entertainment Marginal Job Functions
-Communicate client product needs to product management and assist in the assessment of potential solutions and economic viability
-Assist in the demonstration and proper implementation of cash management services
-Responsible for presenting internal partner cash management training sessions
Required Skills:
-Bachelor's Degree or similar verifiable work experience with a minimum of 3 years cash management consultative sales experience. Proven track record of cash management and/or specialty finance sales success
-Ability to work with others to provide critical information/analysis regarding the client, cross sell opportunities, and cash management solutions
-Proficiency with PC applications including Word, Excel, Lotus Notes or Outlook and other software applications
-Professionalism with excellent interpersonal and behavioral skills, excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to set priorities, while maintaining good personal relationships
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Basic understanding of financial accounting, strong analytical abilities and negotiating skills are a requirement
-The ability to travel to various locations throughout the assigned geographic territory to call on clients and meet their needs
-Leverage the KCIB Research Library, Strategic Business Development Center and other KeyBank resources as required Preferred Skills
-Certified Cash Manager (CCM)/Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) preferred
-Exceed previous sales goals for both fee income and deposits
-Previous experience in a banking/ revenue generating capacity
-Familiar with the KeyBank operation
