DIV> General Summary The Treasury Manager is responsible for the smooth functioning of treasury operations and the development and implementation of cost savings projects relative to cash management. The Treasury Manager is also responsible for aspects of foreign exchange, inter-company lending, global bank account management and financial reporting. The Treasury Manager will also be responsible for managing financial hedging programs. This position manages a staff of one in addition to interfacing with all levels of the Scotts organization — domestically and internationally. General Areas of Responsibility Oversight of daily cash positioning and related reporting Maintenance and management of financial hedging programs Management of receivables sale facility Responsible for debt and interest forecasting/budgeting Integration of acquisitions into the corporate cash management system Optimize retail operations collections including lockbox, merchant card processing, and cash Maintaining SOX and accounting documentation for Treasury compliance purposes Responsible for debt management for the US and Europe Covenant compliance reporting Bank fee analysis Develop and maintain collaborative internal relationships among Scotts Miracle-Gro’s business units and provide support on operational issues Lead projects to provide more effective and efficient cash management solutions and cost savings initiatives Ad hoc Treasury Analysis Minimum Required Skills/Experience Education — Bachelors Degree Education area of emphasis — Accounting/Finance/Economics Software/Equipment proficiency — Excel and Word Years experience — 5+ years (at least 2 years in a corporate Treasury function)Strong organizational skillsSuperior written and verbal communication skillsService orientation Preferred Skills/ExperienceCertifications — CPA, CFA, CTP Years experience — 8+ years
